| Phuket Island is about an 80 minute flight South of Bangkok and ‘our boats’ are both moored in Chalong Bay in the south of Phuket Island. Patong Beach and Phuket town are less than an hour’s drive from the local airport.
Chalong is some 30 minutes by car from Patong and less for clients staying in Karon, Nai Harn, Rawai and Kata. Those staying in the Bang Tao and Kamala resort areas will have a slightly longer transfer time to the boat.
Accommodation varies enormously as befits a resort island and with the attendant quiet and not-so-quiet spots. If you are coming for the first time and would like some pointers as to where to stay, we shall be pleased to give our opinion. This may be helpful if you only want accommodation before and after a multi-day trip. |
